MUTATIONS

Support

First, I want to say thank you. Your material support is what allows me to do what I do.

I write. My books, essays, and literary fragments orbit around what feels like a singular inquiry into the nature of our shared planetary futures. How do we, as a species, start thinking like a planet? How do we further the forms of thinking, imagining, and embodiment necessary not only to survive this era of civilizational transition but, if we dare, flourish? It is a question of becoming planetary. This singular inquiry is in reality a polyvalent door: it challenges us to re-imagine what it might mean to be human, how we understand our self and our society, a profound ontological re-structuring of our relationship with time and space.

Writing is the path that lets me live these questions. Your support is received with immense gratitude. It reminds me that none of us are truly alone. We live these questions together.

First, you can always leave a review of my podcast. Leaving reviews gives the show a visibility boost.

I have a Patreon, and more recently, a Substack newsletter.

Integral Imprint: Books that open the future
“Matt Segall is one of the most interesting philosophers to emerge in recent years in the study of Whitehead, and, perhaps even more excitingly, of Schelling. Segall’s integrative study of these two philosophers makes yet another contribution to the burgeoning project of revitalizing an alternative organic approach to natural science and theology. While in no sense sacrificing intellectual rigour, he moves beyond the limitations of a purely analytical approach to demonstrate the importance of embodied experience and imagination in the effort to understand the nature of the world and of ourselves.”

–Iain McGilchrist, psychiatrist and author of The Master and His Emissary (2009) and The Matter with Things (2021)

Coming home to books is one of the best feelings!

Both feature @jdj_writes - one as the author, the other as the editor. Might not get to them for a couple weeks/months, but can't wait to dive in. Thanks @revelorepress they look great! pic.twitter.com/xPAmYSBiUM
